Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by the Client

You may cancel your management agreement with MayfairBNB Ltd by providing written notice in accordance with the terms of your specific Management Agreement. Standard agreements require a minimum of 30 days' written notice of cancellation.

Upon receipt of valid cancellation notice, we will:

  • Acknowledge the cancellation in writing within 5 business days.
  • Continue to provide services during the notice period as specified in your agreement.
  • Prepare a final account statement and transfer any funds due to you.
  • Return property keys, access codes, and any client materials in our possession.
  • Facilitate a smooth handover to your new management provider.

2. Cancellation by MayfairBNB Ltd

We reserve the right to terminate a Management Agreement with 30 days' written notice in the following circumstances:

  • Repeated failure by the client to meet payment obligations.
  • Failure to maintain the property in a condition suitable for rental.
  • Provision of false or misleading information.
  • Behaviour that endangers our staff, contractors, or guests.
  • Material breach of the Management Agreement that is not remedied within 14 days of notice.

3. Refund Policy

Monthly Management Fees: Monthly management fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period. If you cancel mid-month, you will not receive a pro-rata refund for that month, but you will not be charged for subsequent months.

Setup Fees: One-time setup fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. If you cancel before we begin setup work, we will refund the setup fee in full within 14 business days.

Guest Deposits: Guest security deposits held on your behalf will be returned to guests in accordance with the check-out inspection and your agreement terms. Any disputes will be resolved fairly and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Overpayments: If you have made an overpayment, we will refund the excess amount within 14 business days of identifying the error or receiving your written request.

4. Service Credits

In certain circumstances, we may offer service credits rather than cash refunds. Service credits can be applied against future management fees and are valid for 12 months from issuance. Circumstances where service credits may be offered include:

  • Service interruptions caused by our operational failures.
  • Errors in fee calculations that result in overcharging.
  • Goodwill gestures in response to legitimate service complaints.

5. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under the Management Agreement due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labour, or materials. In such circumstances, fees may be suspended or adjusted proportionately.

6. Complaints and Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with our services or believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us in the first instance at info@mayfairbnb.com. We will investigate your complaint and respond within 10 business days. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably and fairly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date and, where material, communicated to you directly.
